SDAC’s founding members, Canada’s three certification councils (CAMSC, CGLCC and WBE Canada) have been joined together to host this event together for 5 years and gained tremendous success.

“We strive to improve economic opportunities for diverse certified suppliers from across the country. With this year’s theme Breaking Barriers to Scale, Brooke Gordon from BDC spoke about how to use technology as a tool to scale up.” said Cassandra Dorrington, President and CEO, CAMSC.

At this event, diverse suppliers connected with procurement representatives from leading corporations. During the 20-minutes sourcing roundtable sessions, they’ve learned about procurement processes and supplier diversity programs from company representatives and introduce their products, services and unique value proposition.

14 Corporations including BDC, Kellogg, TELUS and other corporations with City of Toronto and Government of Canada took part in sourcing roundtables to share their commitments to supply chain diversity and emerging opportunities.

SDAC co-founding organizations are committed to advancing supplier diversity in Canadian markets and continue to collaboratively work together to building successful partnerships for partner corporations and Canadian suppliers. To lean more, visit www.supplierdiversityalliance.ca.
